GCP and PPK Utilization Plan to Deal with RTK Signal Interruption in RTK-UAV Photogrammetry

When surveying a large target area with real-time kinematic unmanned aerial vehicle (RTK-UAV), the RTK signal tends to be disconnected when city canyons or macrocells are included. Thus, accuracy is reduced due lack of fact that not available in certain areas. The methods solve this problem costly. Therefore, we used one GCP and performed post-process kinematics (PPK) verify whether reduction caused by areas could solved. A data set detailing percentage time during which was received (100%, 90%, 5%, 0%) obtained, ATs were conducted both without PPK using GCPs located at four corners center. In 40 experiments, trend root mean square error (RMSE) values based on distance between 41 check points (CPs) analyzed. absence PPK, tended increase depending CPs, but there no significant difference after as up 10 cm horizontal 20 vertical observed within 1 km radius GCP.
